It is becoming more and more essential for their carbon footprint to be calculated. There is increased pressure for sustainability pushes from customers, staff, and procurement contracts. We help take away this pressure and make it easy for your business to travel through the green transition. Below are the 4 main steps we take to calculate your carbon footprint.

STEP 1: Gather Energy data

We need 12-months of energy bills from your business. This enables us to to decipher if your energy use is higher than similar organisations of your size and sector. From this process we will begin the understand your use and identify areas of waste.

STEP 2: Consultation

The purpose is to understand your energy use and ask any questions about your appliances, opening hours etc. This gives us a better understanding of your business before our visit and enables us to talk about future development plans for your business. This also gives you time to ask any questions you may have about our organisation and express what you would like to achieve.

STEP 3: On-Site Survey

We would recommend a walk round with a facilities team/manager focusing predominantly on your buildings energy performance, energy efficiency, and overall use of the building. This is really informative for our clients and starts to give an understanding of their opportunities and challenges.

STEP 4: Reporting

After all of the initial steps are complete you will receive a report similar to the one on the left. It will illustrate our findings and recommendations for your next steps. This can ultimately help with business reporting internally and externally for your business, grant applications, and can help to gain carbon credentials.
